Closest to Jungle Junction (8 km). Sal forests, open pattas and the highest consistent tiger sighting rate. Best for first-time visitors and school groups.

Elephant Safari

Elephant Safari

A mahout-guided elephant safari offers a uniquely silent, elevated perspective on the forest that no motor vehicle can replicate. Available seasonally, primarily in Bijrani and Dhikala zones.

  • Season: October to February (restricted)
  • Duration: 1 to 2 hours per session
  • Maximum 4 passengers per elephant
  • Silent movement through dense forest
  • Permits bookable through Jungle Junction safari desk

Elephant safaris operate under strict Forest Department regulations. Available sessions are limited and permits must be pre-booked. The experience is particularly valuable for approaching tigers in dense sal forest where jeep routes don't penetrate. Our safari desk has current availability — contact us to check and reserve.
