The most popular route from Delhi is via NH9 (Delhi–Moradabad highway) and then NH534 to Ramnagar. The roads are well-maintained for most of the route. From Ramnagar town, take the Garjiya Road (towards Garjiya Devi Temple) — Jungle Junction is 7 km from Ramnagar on this road.

💡 Depart Delhi before 6 AM to avoid Moradabad traffic. Weekend traffic on NH9 can add 1–2 hours.

By Train to Ramnagar

Ramnagar Station · 7 km from Jungle Junction

Ramnagar is a well-connected railhead on the Moradabad–Ramnagar broad gauge line. Multiple direct trains from Delhi. Jungle Junction arranges pickup from Ramnagar station for all advance bookings — just share your train number and arrival time.

1 Ranikhet Express (15014) — Delhi Anand Vihar → Ramnagar, departs 10:15 PM, arrives 5:45 AM
2 Corbett Link Express (05014) — Moradabad → Ramnagar, seasonal trains during peak season
3 At Ramnagar station: take an auto (₹200–300) or our prearranged pickup to Jungle Junction
💡 Ranikhet Express is the best overnight option — you arrive in time for a 6 AM safari departure. Book in advance (2A or 3A class recommended).

Pantnagar Airport (PGH) is the nearest airport — 80 km from Jungle Junction. IndiGo and Air India operate flights from Delhi (40 min) and limited seasonal services from other cities. Cab and taxi available from the airport (₹2,500–3,500 fixed rate to Jungle Junction).

Kathgodam Station → Jungle Junction · 75 km · 2 hours

Kathgodam (KGM) is a major railhead connecting to Delhi, Lucknow, Dehradun and other cities. Frequent trains and buses. From Kathgodam, take the Nainital Road to Bhimtal, then continue to Ramnagar via Garjiya. Taxi available (₹1,500–2,000).

1 Kathgodam → Bhimtal → Bhowali → Ramnagar (75 km, 2 hrs)
2 Ramnagar → Garjiya Road → Jungle Junction (7 km)
💡 This route passes through beautiful Kumaoni hills. An excellent option if combining Corbett with a Nainital visit.
